Morf Global

I want to speak', is how Ovid begins his metamorphoses, of creatures and bodies that were clothed with new forms and went through many changes...'.

Morf Global is an ongoing and never-ending research project, in collaboration with artist Mieke Verdin, with residencies in KWP De pianofabriek, De school van Gaasbeek, Globe Aroma, KVS and ARSENAAL/LAZARUS. In times of regression where T.I.N.A. (There Is No Alternative) is a queen, a metamorphosis forces itself upon us. A metamorphosis as an indispensable change because the old system is no longer viable. In our quest we are continuously looking for a non-verbal language that everyone understands. A universal jumpy attempt to go against the sentence 'History repeats itself.

For this research project we collaborated withTomas Pevenage, Sara Sampelayo, Lotte Troch, Evelien van de Maele, Ali Alkrizi, Said Amrawu, Rabia Benkhabba, Sekou Coumbassa, Lionel Couvrandt, Brahim Elkhatta, Saidou Ly, Jérémie Richik, Soleymane Sow Marie-Ange Sibi, David Trembla, Mbarek Woullaga and Ifra Yusuf. This collaboration resulted in a happening ‘Le philosophe n’est pas là’ @ Globe Aroma in 2018.
